I chose this light to medium texture to my light rail stop as i felt it would not overcrowd the station too much and offer a feature like wall. This is one of my more simple designed patterns that i have included. This texture is part of the large curved sculpture that is situated at the end of the light rail stop. The texture also helps to create my concept of the 'alternative environment'.
I added this texture to the interior of the light rail stop as it adds a fast mechanism to it which corresponds with the tram coming into the tunnel offering an illusinal feeling as you step off the tram and into the station. I also really like this texture due to its alternate look about it, with these triangular shapes that angle downwards which are then disturbed by straight lines with dark dots that run parallel to the tram as it enters the light rail stop. The Dark texture brings a warmer feeling to the rail stop offering a more inclosed feeling to the rather open area. 
My third chosen texture is more straightforward than the last one. This is a medium texture i chose as it consists of these little swirls that have lines running vertically over them. Similar to my concept it offers the people an alternative scenery one far from a typical station. which runs around all balcony railings.
